Pedí una trucha a la plancha q venía acompañada de una especie de risoto de trigo con variados quesos. Estuvo bastante bueno. También probamos el locro y la variedad de ceviches.

Comencemos por lo tranquilo y la vista del sitio. Deduzco que aún en un horario pesado, la música estridente y los borrachos escandalosos no molestan.
Yo probé el seco de chivo. Gran acierto en ofrecer más que nada carne, tierna y jugosa en su especiada salsa. Prueben la infusión de cedrón y hierba Luisa, refrescante y apta para limpiar sabores de la lengua.
Robé un poco de la trilogía de ceviche y cada uno es aderezado con un cítrico diferente. Vaya ahí!

Es un poco difícil de ubicar, porque el ingreso es por una entrada pequeña y escondida. A la vuelta de la Plaza.
La primera vez que probé la colada morada fue aquí, en Miskay.. delicioso! Y el seco de chivo también muy rico y contundente, la ensalada que lo acompañaba estaba exquisita también.
Por otro lado, los ceviches no me gustaron para nada, definitivamente me quedo con mi ceviche peruano. La fritada de chancho era muy seca, la ensalada lo arreglaba un poco. Los precios son de $13 aprox. por plato, se justifica por el lugar que es muy lindo y el servicio de primera. Recomendado! (:

Their menu appears to be quite meat-heavy on the face of it, but don't run away if you're vegan! We found that our Waiter knew the dishes so well, he did a phenomenal job recommending amendments to the dishes to make them suitable for vegans. We ordered the fish and chicken entrees, substituting both meats for their in-house protein substitute of quinoa and bean cakes with the typical veg sides. Truly delicious and we felt like our waiter really cared and listened to our preferences. On the way out he made a point to ensure we found things satisfactory. He was passionate about us experiencing Ecuadorian flavors in a way that aligned with our diet. Very top notch service!! Thank you!!

We’ve (Peg Malloy and I) eaten at Miskay twice and once with Lynn Youngbar. Both times we were really impressed with the friendly demeaner of staff, quality of the food, and service. We had a great conversation with the young Co-owner and manager of this family-owned and run Ecuadoriano restaurant. Our only critique beyond being very impressed was they could cut the lumens in their exceptionally “clean, well-lighted” nighttime ambiance and better illuminate their rear entrance which can be difficult to find on the fairly dark street. They purposely chose not to have a common entrance with the disco on Calle Mariscal Foch, which makes sense given the sensibilities of Miskay. What that means is better signed/lighted entrance to the rear. It’s a three floor walk up in a nice lighted stairwell so once you find the door it’s no problem getting to the restaurant! I’d give it five stars and is easily one of the quietest, cleanest best staffed restaurants in Quito.

This is a must! The food is amazing and outstanding, and the presentation is great. Service is wonderful and he owner came out to explain each dish, and how it relates to the Ecuadorian culture and history. I highly recommend!

I love the owners there (they look like a sweet family), and their herbal tea is very nice. However the environment there was too touristy and too crowded and noisy. I might be not lucky but also the food was not really 5 stars if I take their price (compared with other wonderful but similar price restaurants in Quito) into consideration. In the end, we were told that the desserts won't be served within 20 Minutes because of a huge group of tourists (?) - To sum up, nice people and nice design but not 5 star food and bad environment. This is how I put 3 stars.

Excelente! Desde la entrada se preocuparon por nuestra dieta vegetariana brindando diferentes opciones y acomodandose a nuestras necesidades, lo cual no pasa muy a menudo cuando eres Vegano/vegetariano. El servicio es muy calido y de gran calidad! No se vayan sin probar el Ají!!

We read great review on Trip Advisor and decided to stop by. We were delighted. The ambiance and environment was warm and inviting. The staff was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We enjoyed the organic take on Ecuadorian food. It was the right amount and not too filling. The presentation of the food was gorgeous. The local choice of beers was also a pleasant surprise. Why do I give this place 5 stars? Because I will go back and I will tell others to go as I am doing now.
